Data Storage¶

All RFID measurement parameters are cached locally and offline on the device. In the default configuration it’s not possible to view the tag data from within the reader embedded application itself. A MySQL Database needs to be connected to the reader and data will be transferred when the connection is available.

Database documentation is provided separately and can be requested from AMTAB Support.

Data Integrity

Once data has been transferred outside the local storage, the integrity of the data is the end customer’s responsibility. If data is tampered with by personnel that has access to the database it will not be detected by tools provided by AMTAB.
